EEG reserve

Until the end of 2010, the transmission system operators (TSOs) were allowed to keep an EEG reserve for the management of the EEG balancing group. This EEG reserve was always used when the power exchanges had no adequate liquidity. It was procured on the basis of a monthly tender.
