Online information on 50Hertz Purchasing

On the following pages, you can find information on 50Hertz's purchasing process, ranging from the "General Purchasing Terms" (GPT) over calls for tender to the creation of digital catalogues for 50Hertz.

As a transmission system operator, 50Hertz plays a leading role in bringing about the energy transition in Germany. The next ten years will be the "decade of the grids", mostly for this reason. As a result, 50Hertz is faced with many challenges. We try to find a solution together with our partners, suppliers and service providers, in the larger context of a long-term relationship of trust.

Our company's annual purchases add up to about 300 to 400 billion EUR. This is possible thanks to the efforts of a large team at 50Hertz as well as a team at each of our suppliers. We consider both sides as a single entity. Reciprocity of trust creates a joint team with a common goal: to actively cooperate in bringing about the energy transition.

After all, when we are successful, so are you as a supplier and service provider.

For the realisation of the common high goal we have set for ourselves, we have to optimise our commercial processes and increase their transparency in the interest of cooperation as partners. To this end, we created a central online platform: P2P (Purchase to Pay). It enables current and future suppliers and service providers to contact us in the quickest way possible. You can enquire about planned calls for tenders, performance and payment statuses and submit offers directly into our online system. This creates transparency and trust - the basis for cooperation with you, our partner.
