Planning and approval process
The construction work for the Wind Bus Bar was completed and the 380 kV line was commissioned in December 2012. After the plan approval procedure for the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania section was concluded in 2009, the plan for the Schleswig-Holstein line was approved in late April 2012. Since then, we worked hard to link the completed eastern route section to the connection between the state border and Krümmel. Commissioning took place on 18 December 2012.
After the two-year regional planning procedure from 2005 to 2007, the plan approval procedure was concluded after another two years in September 2009. Subsequently, the line was completed up to the state border in July 2010. At the same time, the 110 kV line, supported by the same pylons, could also be commissioned.
After the regional planning procedure was concluded in 2005, approval was granted in the four-year plan approval procedure by the State Company for Road Construction and Transport in Kiel in April 2012. Following the conclusion of all negotiations with the land owners to secure the property rights, the construction works for the line began in the spring of 2012. By now, all pylons are in place and all conductors installed.
