At two project conferences in Schleiz and Altenburg, 50Hertz explained its application for federal sector planning with the aid of a computer simulation. To this end, three short films were made, depicting the possible alternative corridors in the landscape. The films are based on a three-dimensional terrain model with the existing line and the 1000 metre wide corridors. Two films showcase the approved eastern section between Röhrsdorf and Weida and a possible alternative to the south. The third film shows the studied corridors in the approved section Weida – Remptendorf. The current route is coloured orange in the films. Other existing overhead lines that run parallel to the current line in certain places are shown in green. These and other films, created in August 2016 for information fairs, can be seen on 50Hertz’s YouTube channel.
The first two films show the course of the existing route (in yellow) in both approved sections between Röhrsdorf and Weida and between Weida and Remptendorf. In addition, there is also the 1000 metre wide planning corridor (displayed in green) to be determined in the scope of federal sector planning. The exact line route will be determined in the subsequent planning approval procedure. The next two films explain the convergence of the visualisation with the current route. The last sequence visualises the course of the possible alternative corridors that have been identified in addition to the corridor along the existing route.
Start in Remptendorf
Start in Weida
The film explains the convergence of the visualisation with the current route.
