Berlin – Boris Schucht will manage the 50Hertz company until 28 February 2019, as he has decided to take on new professional challenges. This is what Boris Schucht and the 50Hertz Supervisory Board as well as the shareholders Elia and KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau) have mutually agreed upon on 4 December.
“For 50Hertz, a new era begins after the share transfers this year. After nine very exciting and extremely successful years with a really great 50Hertz team, this is the right time for me to pass on the baton," commented the 50Hertz CEO.
The Chairman of the 50Hertz Supervisory Board, Chris Peeters, added: “The Elia Group - but also I personally - are extremely grateful for the extraordinary performance and many successes Boris Schucht has achieved for and with 50Hertz. I wish him luck, all the best for his professional future and want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his dedicated contribution to the success story of 50Hertz.”
